Delegation programme for the Norwegian CCUS study trip to Denmark

Background
The B2B study trip is done in collaboration with CCUS Norway and the Norwegian Embassy in Copenhagen. The aim of the trip is to explore the potential for cooperation and innovation between Norwegian and Danish industry actors in areas such as CCUS technology development and deployment, supply chain cooperation and regulation - or policy development.
Programme
The programme provides an overall introduction to all topics within CCUS, covering policy updates, industry updates, and innovation updates in carbon capture transportation, utilisation, and storage.
Day 1: Tuesday November 26
Morning: Flight to Copenhagen
12:30 – 14:00: Lunch meeting with the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Supply
Location: Ministry of Climate, Energy and Supply or the embassy
Content: Gain insight into Denmark's CCS incentive programmes, political
framework and government support.
14:00 – 16:00: Meeting with HOFOR www.hofor.dk
Location: The Embassy
Content: Meeting with HOFOR, which operates a combined heat and power plant
and focuses on biogenic CO2 management.
16:30 - 18:30: Visit the Amager Resource Center
Location: Vindmøllevej 48, 2300 København S
Content: Visit to a Waste-to-Energy facility.
Evening: The evening for your own disposal
Day 2: Wednesday November 27
8:30 – 09:30: Brief with the embassy and Innovation Norway
Location: The Embassy
Content: Gain insight into Danish social relations and how the embassy and
Innovation Norway can assist Norwegian companies within the CCUS industry.
10:00 – 11:00: Meeting with Carbon Capture Cluster Copenhagen (time not confirmed)
Location: The Embassy
Content: Meeting with Carbon Capture Cluster Copenhagen about projects and
collaboration opportunities.
11:00 – 12:00: Lunch meeting with CO2 Storage Kalundborg (not confirmed)
Location: The Embassy
Content: Meeting about CO2 Storage Kalundborg and Equinor's CCS plans in
Denmark and cooperation opportunities.
12:30 – 15:00: Visit to Vestforbræningen
Location: Ejby Mosevej 219, 2600 Glostrup
Content: Visit to a Waste-to-Energy facility.
Evening: Home journey
The participants pay for travel and accommodation, everything else is covered by the project.
